At the heart of  Neuralstem’s therapeutic cell development programs is the is ability to isolate and grow human neural stem cells from diverse regions of the developing human brain and spinal cord.
 
This technology is supported by our portfolio of issued and pending patents.  The Company has a very pro active plan for obtaining and protecting it’s stem cell Intellectual Property, not just in the United States, but world wide.  In addition to it’s stem cell intellectual property, the company has been active in licensing in important intellectual property rights for newly developed devices and equipment that will be required to optimize delivery of  it’s stem cell therapeutics through surgical transplantation into the brain and spinal cord.
